Recently, Bio LAK has cooperated with organizations such as FOR A WORTH LIVING HANOI, THINK PLAYGROUNDS and NEWZEALAND EMBASSSY in the tree planting program for a green park on the Red River banks phase 2.
We have selected plants from the Bio LAK garden that are nursed from seeds such as lucuma, clausena lansium, jackfruit, gardenia, and herba ocimi tenuiflori for this tree planting project. In addition, some other trees such as kalanchoe pinnata, pluchea indica, piper betle, rhus chinensis mill., malvaviscus, hibiscus mutabilis, champaca are also planted for the project. These are the suitable plants to create a permaculture garden with appropriate canopy layers, as well as bring practical applications in people’s daily life.
The activity attracted people, members of the above organizations, students from BVIS and UNIS Hanoi international school.
In this activity, a sensory garden was built, contributing to create a better living environment with plants, especially for the little ones who can enjoy outdoor activities, close to nature.
